Bible Guess the emoji games!

 Everyone loves and uses emojis :)  Even kids 🧒!  Even my head pastor!  Even older adults! 👴;)  Everyone can relate, which makes these games fun 👍 🎉  I created the first one of these games to use online during the pandemic over zoom (on powerpoint) 😷 But now that many of us are back in person they can also be used by projecting them in person, or you can print out the powerpoint presentation cards and hand them out.  Lots of ways you could play!  So far, I've made 4 versions - if you have any other ideas for Emoji Bible 📖 games, let me know!  They're fun to make :) 

1.  Regular Bible Emoji Game: $3 (etsy store link) This one costs the most as it has 20 common and well-known Bible stories (the others have 10).  To make them all a learning experience, I've included a summary of the story and Scripture where you can find the story.  You could have them give you the summary to see if they remember the story before you advance the slide, or you could read the summary together.  This is a great review of popular Bible stories that you could use all year round!  

The 20 stories included are The Lost Sheep, Baby Moses, Queen Esther, birth of Baby Jesus, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego; Jesus Feeds the 5000, David and Goliath, Jesus Heals the Man on the Roof, the Resurrection, John the Baptist, Jesus Calms the Storm, Joseph Coat of Many Colors, the Last Supper, Zacchaeus, the Good Samaritan, Creation story, Daniel and the Lions, Jonah, Adam and Eve, Paul and Silas, Jesus Walking on Water.

2.  Guess the Parable Emoji Game: This game is $2 and contains 10 slides on different parables.  The ones I've included are -

3.   Guess the Emoji Easter/Holy Week Game:   This game is $2.  There are 10 slides each containing a person or event in the Easter story - Peter, Judas, Jesus, Pilate, Palm Sunday, Foot washing, Last Supper, Praying in the garden, Crucifixion and Resurrection.

4.  Guess the Emoji Christmas Story Game:  $2.  This game also has 10 slides that depict a part of the Christmas story (or a character in the story).  Here are the 10 slides...

1. angel visits Mary

2. angel visits Joseph

3. Caesar Augustus declares a census

4. Mary and Joseph travel to Bethlehem

5. There are no rooms for them to stay the night

6. Baby Jesus is born in a stable

7. shepherds visited by angels

8. Shepherds visit baby Jesus

9. Shepherds proclaim the good news to all

10. 3 wise men visit Jesus (it is up to you to teach them that the wise men did not visit Jesus in the stable ;) Or, you could skip this slide if you don't feel it should be in there.
